Employment (채용)

Strawberries are picked and packaged for sale from September each year until April – May the following year.딸기는 매년 9월부터 다음년 4~5월까지 수확 포장해서 판매됩니다.

As you can see there is a lot of work to be done each day and we employ a lot of people over the year to make it all happen. 알다시피 매일 매일 끝마쳐야 되는 일들이 많이 있기에, 우리는 일년내내 많은 근로자를 필요로 합니다.  OUTDOOR WORK 야외작업 You should come prepared for this type of work and for this outdoors living environment. The weather can be unpredictable.  날씨는 변화무쌍 하므로, 근로자는 야외 작업 및 야외 생활에 대한 준비가 되어 있어야 합니다.

You must bring wet weather gear. A raincoat or similar. Sometimes we will work in the rain.

근로자는 반드시 우비등 비오는 환경에 대비한 물품을 준비해야 됩니다. 때때로 빗속에서도 일을 합니다.

You should bring appropriate foot wear for outdoor work other than your best shoes.

근로자는 야외일에 적합한 신발은 별도로 준비하는 것이 좋습니다.

You must bring your own FOOD.

근로자는  반드시 음식은 스스로 가져와야 됩니다.

You must bring your own bedding. You can bring either a sheet and some warm blankets or a good sleeping bag. Make sure that your sleeping bag will keep you warm at night as we do not have enough blankets for everyone.

근로자는 반드시 자신만의 침구를 지참해야 됩니다. 근로자는 슬리핑 백이나 시트와 여러장의 담요를 가져와도 됩니다. 우리는 근로자에게 제공할 충분한 담요가 없기에, 밤새 추위를 막아줄 당신만의 침구가 필요합니다.

Accomodation

숙박시설

Fees: We charge a small fee to compensate us for the power and gas usage. A rate of $5 daily or $35 per week is charged Accommodation charges are taken directly out of your wages.

요금 : 소액의 가스 전기료만 청구됩니다.  하루 $5 이나 일주일에 $35 청구되면 급여에서 바로 공제 됩니다.
